A friendly reminder that starting in July, all agencies picking up frozen product at Second Harvest will need to bring an insulated freezer blanket to protect the product during transport. To everyone who preordered blankets – thank you!
Later this month, a limited supply of additional blankets will available on our line inventory under product code PUR-911, and we will let you know when they are available. We exhausted our vendor’s supply of specially priced blankets, so please note that the blankets available on inventory will be priced slightly higher than the blankets that were available for preorder.
This frozen product change is cited in the new 2015 Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Signed MOAs are due by Monday, June 22. If you have any questions regarding the new MOA, or if you did not receive the updated version via email, please contact Erin Gray at egray@feedhopenow.org or at 407-514-1045.
