Cabbage is a great source of vitamin C and has powerful cancer-fighting nutrients. However, once cabbage is cut the amount of vitamin C decreases. When cooking  cabbage, cook uncovered, just until tender. Strong smelling cabbage is a result of overcooking.

  • Substitute lettuce in tacos with cabbage
  • Add shredded cabbage into salads
  • Cut cabbage wedges and roast in the oven…yum!
  • Stir-fry cabbage with your favorite vegetables
