Christian Care Benevolence
Congratulations to Christian Care Benevolence for being awarded the 2019 Lake County Agency of the Year at the Partner Agency Conference. Here is a little about this amazing agency.
This agency is the largest food pantry in Lake County serving an average of over 2500 individuals each month, giving over 28,000 pounds of food each week to those in need in Lake County.
This program is designed to supply families with five days’ worth of food and eight articles of clothing per family member each month along with other household items free of charge. They have been a Partner Agency since 1999
They currently pick up at 9 grocery stores in the Lake County Area. They distributed more than 1,500,000 lbs of food into the community in 2018.
They have also become a mentor to many of the smaller or newer pantries in their area and strive to help end hunger in Lake County.
