Eau Gallie First Baptist Church Food Pantry has been serving the residents of Melbourne for more than a decade.
Their mission, “To share the love of Jesus by providing food to those less fortunate in our community,” is carried out through the pantry’s twice weekly client distributions. For the past year, Second Harvest Food Bank has provided food for the approximately 75 food bags, filled with nonperishable staples like canned meats and mac n cheese, that are distributed each week.
The team at Eau Gallie Food Pantry shared that, “If Second Harvest was not here to help us, our food budget would not stretch as far…meaning we could not serve as many families. It’s an honor to be able to serve.”
Thank you, Eau Gallie FBC, for your help in the fight against hunger in Brevard County!
