2021 New Partner Agency of the Year
On Friday, October 29, 2021, at our 5th Annual Partner Agency Conference, Second Harvest was awarded the annual Partner Agency Awards. We want to highlight the awardees of these awards for the next few weeks to congratulate them on their accomplishments.
This week we are acknowledging the receipt of a new award, New Partner Agency. This year, we are honoring Serenity’s Grace who serves the Parramore area in Orange County. Karlette “KoKo” Karras and her amazing team, including her granddaughter who is one of the founding members of this organization, have dedicated their lives to helping those in need in the community, especially the homeless in the Parramore area.
When Serenity’s Grace joined the Second Harvest Family in the middle of the pandemic, they took off running and have not looked back. This agency jumped right in and agreed to do extra distributions, offer mobile drops in the community, and help Second Harvest in any way to provide food during a very challenging time.
