Catholic Charities of Central Florida has partnered with SHFB for over 20 years!
Last fiscal year, they helped more than 8,000 families and over 20,600 individuals with food alone. Catholic Charities served 30,496 food bags equating to more than 259,000 pounds of food.
John and Derrick come to the food bank weekly and fill their truck with canned, frozen, and fresh produce. Catholic Charities’ volunteer teams create family and individual bags that allow clients to get a variety of staple items to make complete meals, providing security for each family member.
They also offer additional services to clients in order to help end the vicious cycle of hopelessness and encourage the path to self-sustaining families!
