The Taproot Foundation has facilitated more than 6,000 pro bono consulting projects that helped build nonprofits’ capacity in the areas of marketing, IT, strategy and HR, totaling over $145 million in donated value. This year, we have partnered with the ConAgra Foods Foundation to provide a workshop, “Pro Bono Resources for Hunger Fighting Organizations,” to nonprofits across the US. We would like to cordially invite your organization, a proven leader in this fight, to participate in our event. More information is provided below.

Pro Bono Resources for Hunger Fighting Organizations

What would your organization look like if you had access to the same services and resources as a for-profit company?  Could you use support in marketing, finance, HR, and strategic planning?  Wouldn’t it be nice if someone you trusted could start chipping away at your organizational wish list?

Pro bono is a step beyond traditional volunteering – and organizations that leverage it regularly see huge returns that can build out their internal infrastructure without sacrificing their funding for delivering crucial programs. The four-hour workshop delivered by the Taproot Foundation will walk you through the steps and skills necessary for strong pro bono project management. You’ll learn:

  • Principles of great pro bono work
  • How to scope a pro bono project
  • How to find and secure resources
  • Best practices for managing a pro bono project
