Warehouse Heroes: Ricardo Robledo

Author: Agency Relations & Programs Team

When you are at the Orlando Warehouse and there is something you need help with, you are in a jam, or you just need a hug, who do you think of?

We have an answer for you! Ricardo Robledo!

Here at Second Harvest, Ricardo is our “go to guy”, he is the Second Harvest Warehouse manager. A typical day at work includes overseeing the drivers, warehouse staff, making sure mobile drops are sent out on time, TEFAP, the agency mart, and deliveries. He’s been a part of what we do at Second Harvest for 22 years, and in that time has a made a tremendous impact on the agencies and staff he has worked with.

I got the chance to ask some of the agencies about Ricardo and what I repeatedly heard was that he’s always willing to go the extra mile, take the extra time, and put in the extra work to help the agencies feed more people in their communities.

When asked what his favorite part of the job was, he said “All the agencies that come through the doors of our warehouse are special, they each help the community in unique ways, and getting to be a part of that is what keeps me excited about coming to work every day.”
