The Hi-Five Food Program serves children in elementary schools where a significant number of students participate in the Free/Reduced Cost School Lunch Program. Children participating in the lunch program live in low-income households where parents are challenged to meet their nutritional needs.
The goal of the program is to provide meal packs to kids on Fridays for weekend consumption, when they lack access to the school cafeteria.
